Monotonix
ISR (Tel Aviv)
With makeshift kit, raw physical presence and a show that borders on pandemonium, seeing Monotonix live is the only way to see them. The Israeli trio have apparently been banned from most live venues in their home town of Tel Aviv, relocating to the United States to inflict their sweat, moshing and garage music on a different culture. Regularly found playing their instruments in the crowd rather than on stage, the proximity between band and crowd's energy is such that they are almost indistinguishable.
