PREAMBULE

This text determines the use of the website as well as its various services (purchase of tickets, accommodation reservations, bus reservations, etc.). As soon as the user enters the website, he declares approving the General Conditions of the event described below. If you do not agree with our website and/or General Terms and Conditions, we can only advise you to stop using it.
 

The General Terms and Conditions of the Event are always linked to our General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
 

We may at any time decide to modify our General Terms and Conditions. The modifications do not mean that any form of compensation will be given to the past byers, the changes made will only have an effect for future purchases.

 

ARTICLE 1: USE OF THE WEBSITE AND ADJACENT PORTALS

Each user of our website and our online services, is aware that such use is always entirely at his own risk. All necessary precautions have been taken to ensure the proper performance of our website and ticketing system, however, we cannot give an absolute guarantee. The user may experience losses, as a result of errors and/or viruses or other harmful elements. We cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use of our website and ticket office.
 
It is possible that some of the contents of our website may be downloaded or that some pages may contain links to other websites or portals. Every downloading of our website, as well as every click to other pages, is always at your own risk, and any damage resulting from loss of data or damage to the computer system is entirely and exclusively the responsibility of the user.

 

ARTICLE 2: PRIVACY POLICY

Each visitor, after visiting our website or ticket office, leaves information about himself. This information varies according to the number of actions carried out during its visit. It is possible that a person can be clearly identified. Be aware that we collect and process these personal data.
 
The Privacy Policy applies to the website: www.dourfestival.eu as well as all its domain names. The Privacy Policy and the processing of personal data are established in accordance with the law of the 8th of December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data (Privacy Act).
 
You visit our website freely and consult information about the organisation, artistic content and other related services without having to provide any personal information. A visit or a consultation of our website does not lead to the saving and processing of the user’s personal data, the only information saved are navigation data (such as an IP address for example). The navigation data will be erased but can be used to determine who is responsible for infractions committed against or via our website.
 
Dour Music Festival, records and processes personal data freely provided by the user (e. g. subscription to the newsletter, purchase of products or services, etc.). This collected data are usually: the surname, first name, email address, telephone number, and postal address, if they have been entered. Whenever the user provides personal data, these will be processed by Dour Music Festival for administrative and contractual purposes, for all information concerning ticket sales, contests, newsletters or other information to offer an optimal service.
By providing personal data via our website, the user of the website expressly authorizes Dour Music Festival to process them for the purposes indicated above.
 
The personal data provided via the Website will be saved and processed in a closed and secure environment, via an electronic system administered by Dour Music Festival. These data are only available to a certain number of designated persons, authorised to consult and process them.

 

ARTICLE 3: IMAGE REPRODUCTION RIGHT

By participating at the festival, the festival-goer grants to the organizers their image reproduction right on the festival site and/or the festival campsite. The festival-goer therefore abandons all recourse against the organisers when pictures are taken on the festival site and campsite, as well as when they are used on the festival’s print and web communication media. However, the festival-goer can report to the organizer via helpdesk@dourfestival.eu , a picture that would be prejudicial to him/her and that is present on the communication media.
 
In the absence of prior written authorization from the organizer, all photos or videos taken by festival visitors on the festival grounds may not be used for commercial or public purposes.

 

ARTICLE 4: PROHIBITED OBJECTS

PROHIBITED OBJECTS ON THE CONCERT SITE:
 
• Alcohol,
• Plastic bottles (bottle type of water, milk…),
• Bottle/container or any other glass object,
• Flasks,
• Containers,
• Metal can (type of tin cans),
• Beverage carton (type tetra pak),
• Barrels,
• Water pocket (camelback type),
• Refrigerator/freezer box,
• Illicit substances, drugs,
• Sharp, blunt or dangerous weapon or object (same dummy),
• Umbrella with pointed tip,
• Fireworks, fireworks, Bengal fire, flare rocket,
• Barbecue,
• All camping equipment (tent, furniture even folding, stove…),
• Bulky bag,
• Image or sound recording and playback device (other than smartphone),
• Selfie-stick,
• Laser pointer,
• Marker,
• Spray paint spray can,
• Distribution of leaflets, flyers, leaflets, leaflets, promotional posters (unless authorized),
• Animals (except guide dogs of blind or companion),
• Use of drones,
 
And anything that could be considered dangerous from the organiser’s point of view. The above list of prohibited items may be adapted or extended at any time by the organiser. 
Any unauthorized sale by the organizer is strictly prohibited. All seizures will be destroyed on the site.
 
OBJECTS FORBIDDEN ON THE FESTIVAL SITE:
 
• Bottles/containers or any other glass object,
• Barrels / beer pumps,
• Illicit substances, drugs,
• Weapon, sharp, blunt or dangerous (even fake) objects,
• Umbrella with pointed tip,
• Fireworks, fireworks, Bengal fire, flare rocket,
• Barbecue, burners, cooker, small stove (camping gas type), gas bottle (domestic or other),
• Generators, gas cylinder (domestic or other),
• Image or sound recording and playback device (other than smartphone),
• Selfie-stick,
• Laser pointer,
• Marker, spray paint spray,
• Distribution of leaflets, flyers, leaflets, leaflets, promotional posters (unless authorized),
• Animals (except guide dogs of blind or companion),
• Use of drone,
 
And anything that could be considered dangerous from the organiser’s point of view. The above list of prohibited items may be adapted or extended at any time by the organiser.

GENERALITES
 
There is no minimum age to enter the Dour Festival. Anyone born after 2006 will be admitted for free. For minors, it is advised to be accompanied by a parent, guardian and/or other adult.

 

No alcoholic beverages may be sold or offered to anyone under the age of 16 years old.
Drug policy = zero tolerance. Dour Festival has zero tolerance for drugs! It is forbidden to use drugs on the festival grounds. Any disobeying of the law may result in expulsion from the festival grounds. The drug trade is prohibited on the festival grounds and will result in expulsion from the festival and the intervention of the police. You have the possibility to leave your drugs in the containers provided for this purpose before entering the festival grounds without any consequences.

 

Visitors are asked to cooperate in maintaining the festival site clean, in particular by using the waste sorting and collection systems at your disposal on campgrounds and car parks.

 

ARTICLE 5: ACCESS SCHEDULE TO THE FESTIVAL SITE AND CAMPSITES

Access to the festival and its surroundings (campgrounds and parking spaces included) is reserved to people with festival tickets, wristbands or with the intention of buying a ticket on site. Anyone entering the festival must therefore be in possession of a valid ticket or bracelet.
 
Opening hours of the CAMPINGS (public, comfort, The Village and Green Camping):
Wednesday 11th of July 2018 at 12PM to Monday 16th of July 2018 at 12PM.
 
For holders of a 5 DAY ticket, the campsite will be accessible from Wednesday 11th of July 2018 at 12PM, until Monday 16th of July 2018 at 11AM.
 
For holders of a 1 DAY ticket, the campsite will be accessible to you:
• For 1 DAY – WEDNESDAY, from Wednesday 11th of July at 12PM to Thursday 12th of July at 11AM.
• For 1 DAY – THURSDAY, from Thursday 12th of July at 12PM to Friday 13th of July at 11AM.
• For 1 DAY – FRIDAY, from Friday 13th of July at 12PM to Saturday 14th of July at 11AM.
• For 1 DAY – SATURDAY, from Saturday 14th of July at 12PM to Sunday 15th of July at 11AM.
• For 1 DAY – SUNDAY, from Sunday 15th of July at 12PM to Monday 16th of July at 12PM.
 
Opening hours of the CONCERTS SITE:
• Wednesday 11th of July 2018 from 06PM to 02AM
• Thursday 12th of July 2018 to Sunday 15th of July 2018 from 1PM to 4AM
Important: Access to the concerts site will only be allowed until 1 hour before the end of the last concert.
 
Ticket opening hours for wristbands and/or ticket sales:
• Wednesday 11th of July 2018 to Sunday 15th of July 2018 from 12PM to 12AM.
 

ARTICLE 6: SAFETY

For security reasons, the organizers reserve the right to search anyone at the festival entrance to the concert site and/or campsite. 
Any festival-goers who do not submit to this formality will be refused access to the festival site and its campsite.
 
The festivalgoer will follow the instructions of the security guards at all times.
 If a festivalgoer notices suspicious behaviour of another festivalgoer or a third party, he/she is invited to inform the security agents. The organizers reserve the right to refuse access to the festival site and its campsite to any festival-goers whose behaviour could harm anyone’s safety or that of third parties.

 

ARTICLE 7: SALES ON THE FESTIVAL SITE AND/OR AT THE FESTIVAL CAMPSITE

In the absence of a prior written authorization from the organizer, any sale of food, beverages, souvenirs, T-shirts or any other items is strictly prohibited.

 

ARTICLE 8: RESPONSIBILITY

By purchasing a festival ticket, you expressly approve as a visitor that you accept the General Terms and Conditions of the Event. Any failure to comply with these rules will be penalised. Dour Music Festival reserves the right to refuse access to the site to any person if there are sufficient reasons to do so. You are solely responsible for any violation of the rules. You are also required to indemnify Dour Music Festival against all possible consequences of your violation, including third party claims. We also keep the right to take the necessary legal measures if needed.
 
Artists and organizers, their agents and employees cannot be held responsible for any loss, damages or thefts, nor can anyone from the event crew. The official sale of products derived from the festival takes place only on the festival grounds and its website.

 

ARTICLE 9: INDEPENDENCE OF CLAUSES

Failure by the organizers to implement any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be interpreted as a renunciation by the organizers of any of these terms and conditions. Likewise, the possible invalidity of a clause of these conditions does not affect the validity of the other clauses.

 

ARTICLE 10: JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW

In case of litigation, only the courts of the judicial district in which SA DOUR MUSIC FESTIVAL – Mons – has its registered office are competent.
 The Belgian law is the only applicable law.
