After Mura Masa, Tyler, The Creator alt-J and Paul Kalkbrenner we add 24 new names to the line-up of the next edition of Dour Festival.
The honor to kick off goes to The Chemical Brothers. The mythical duo from England is getting ready for their first appearance at Dour and they will bring their countless hits, ready to be unleashed.
To represent the hip hop scene, we invite nobody less than Action Bronson. Though he doesn’t need to defend the game alone. Denzel Curry, Mick Jenkins and the fabulous Princess Nokia will be present to help him with that.
The fans of electronic music are being served a true menu. Pan-Pot, Modeselektor dj set, Recondite and Rødhåd are representing German quality at Dour this year. Next to that the Canadian Daphni, the British Mount Kimbie en Floating Points (solo and live) will attend the festival to carry everybody away. We’ll end this list with the phenomenal producers like the Dutch Fatima Yamaha, Cashmere Cat from Norway, the French Polo&Pan and the duo Talaboman, a collaboration between the Spaniard John Talabot and the Swede Axel Boman.
We do not forget to add some rock in the mix. Scheduled are the fierce American Thee Oh Sees, the return of cult bands Ministry and Mogwai, very promising acts like Shame and Zeal and Ardor and sunny indie rock from Australia with Parcels. The last rock band we announce is the project Dead Cross composed by nobody else than Mike Patton (Faith No More, Fantômas, Peeping Tom,…) and drummer of Slayer, Dave Lombardo.
Last but not least we are proud to announce the fixed value within the new generation of reggae, Protoje & The Indiggnation.
