😈 Excision at #dour2021 😈
Dour Festival re-confirms another headliner for its 2021 edition: Excision, the heavy dubstep phenomenon that guarantees an exceptional audiovisual show.
Thursday, 16 July Dourstalgia has hit its peak. It is noon. We should be starting to see the faces of festival-goers emerging from their tents, hair ruffled and eyes still sleepy, but already filled with that iconic ‘Doureuuuh’ energy after a clearly too-short night and the reunions of the day before.
To get through this week as best we can without Dour Festival, we can now officially launch our 2021 countdown and unveil a new headliner.
After the announcement of A$AP Rocky on the Last Arena – open for the full 5 days of the festival for the first time – today we announce the addition of the heavy dubstep phenomenon Excision to our 2021 programme, who will set foot on the Dour Festival stage for the very first time.
After collaborations with the iconic metal group Korn, Excision, whose real name is Jeff Abel, founded the group Destroid in 2012 – with whom he would launch his futuristic concerts presenting the exceptional audiovisual shows which have established his reputation.
The Canadian, now an essential name on the bass music scene, dropped a bombshell last April when he announced a new album in the works – two years after “Apex” – which is sure to delight headbangers across the globe.
Only 362 days left to go.
