action bronson
From Queens to the Dour Festival stage on July 18!
Arian Asllani, better known as Action Bronson, is an artist whose career path is as atypical as it is impressive. Born and raised in Queens, New York, he began his career as a chef, building a reputation in the culinary world. This unique experience had a profound influence on his music, where references to food and the culinary arts are omnipresent.
It was following a serious accident, which left him bedridden with a broken leg, that Action Bronson discovered rap. This turning point marked the beginning of a new vocation. In 2011, he released his first album, “Dr. Lecter”, after signing with Warner Bros and the Vice media group. This project, with its urban soundscapes mixed with a touch of rock madness, heralds the arrival of an extraordinary artist.
With his second album, “Mr. Wonderful” (2015), Action Bronson explores more intimate themes, such as love and its complexities. Between offbeat humor and emotional depth, he establishes himself as a rapper capable of navigating between lightness and introspection. His deep voice, powerful flow and inimitable style make him a standout in the American hip-hop landscape.
Action Bronson doesn’t limit himself to music. A multi-talented artist, he hosts two cooking shows, publishes a best-selling book, and takes up painting. In 2018, he produced over 100 works, one of which became the cover of his “White Bronco” album. This album, with its eponymous title, confirms his ability to surprise and reinvent himself.
A revelation when he first performed at Dour in 2013, Action Bronson returns to the stage in 2025 to deliver what promises to be a memorable show. With his energetic performances, hard-hitting lyrics and undeniable charisma, he has become a key figure in American hip-hop.
Join us on July 18 at the Dour Festival to rediscover this multifaceted artist, ready to electrify audiences with his music and his singular universe. A performance that promises to live up to his immense talent!
