Lady Conscious Be presents ska, rocksteady and roots reggae which will transport you to another world. Lady Conscious Be was brought up in London, where she immersed herself in Jamaican musical culture and began to play records and organise parties with key players in the 1960/70s scene. Arriving in Brussels in 2011, Lady Conscious Be has collaborated with several collectives, and went to on to develop the city's "Soul Vibration Brussels" nights. Lady Conscious Be will be accompanied at the microphone by one of the most respected Jamaican MCs in London: Ras Digby, who has been part of the sound systems scene for 45 years.
