Spoon

USA (Austin)

Biography

Since the success of Kill the Moonlight in 2002, Spoon have time and again proven that they belong among indie royalty. 2007's Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga was many people's choice for album of the year and 2010's Transference looks to be going the same way. Both accessible and innovative, catchy yet quirky, Spoon have always stayed on the cool side of indie pop music. Their songs irresistably transport you through the emotions of human life, all the while inviting you marvel at their complexity and variety. Spoon are perfect for the Dour surroundings and we're proud to welcome them back for their second visit.
