When a group of young women from a remote region of Benin find themselves signed to the Born Bad Records label (La Femme, Frustration, Zombie Zombie, etc.) and release an album that brings a breath of fresh air and unparalleled modernity to the garage rock scene, we think it's a beneficial kick to a scene that is often too Western-centric.
