Chronixx, the leading figure of the revival of the Jamaican reggae scene at #dour2020

His real name being Jamar Rolando McNaughton, Chronixx is so much more than just the son of the Jamaican singer Chronicle: he is the leading figure of the revival of the reggae scene in his country. Having had a dazzling career debut in 2011 with his EP Hooked, he mixes his Caribbean roots and reggae instrumentations while adding contemporary dancehall touches. At just 27 years of age, Chronixx continues his prestigious collaborations (Major Lazer, Joey Bada $$) and travels the world, from the United States to Ethiopia, from Japan to the Dour Festival, to meet a public that he has already won over.
