#dour2022: the first artists! ⚡

The announcements don’t stop there for the XXL edition of Dour 2022. Be warned! 5 days off will not be enough. You will need to take an entire week off work for our reunion, taking place from Monday 11 July 2022. Featuring: a crazy warm-up to the rhythm of sound systems, nature and all kinds of surprises at Dour CampFest from Monday 11 July. Followed from July 13 to 17 by an anthology edition of Dour Festival, with the first confirmed artists revealed now!

Starting with the new jewel of the Belgian crown, Angèle, who will be making her big comeback. And what a comeback! 4 years after her first appearance at Dour Festival, Angèle, who arrived then as a rising star of Belgian music, is now back as the queen of French-speaking pop, freshly certified with a double diamond disc, to present her new album, Nonante-Cinq, on her only date of the summer.

The second confirmed headliner for a unique visit to Belgium, the incredible, Flume, one of the most talented producers of his generation! The Australian’s music resonates in the four corners of the physical and digital worlds (FIFA, GTA), and yet he has still managed to maintain his ‘indie’ feel, offering collaborations with artists such as Disclosure, the sorely missed SOPHIE, JPEGMafia and more recently Toro Y Moi.

Who better than Angle and Flume to get things under way with an extended programme of some 250 artists, of all different styles coming together under one theme, PARTY (and love too, because Dour is love).

Let’s get together for a PARTY on the techno acid highway of Amelie Lens, the contemporary electro of German pioneer Sven Väth, the live performance of one of the most respected techno producers today, Reinier Zonneveld, the futurist Avalon Emerson along with the virtuoso DJ, Joy Orbison, the house of Lyon‘s Folamour, and the disco, techno and house epics of Chicagoans Honey Dijon and The Blessed Madonna.

More PARTY vibes with the underground drum and bass of SHERELLE, the avant-garde pop of Oklou, the lyric gabber of ascendant vierge, the English prog-rock and post-punk psyche of black midi. PARTY again and again with our ultra-endearing modern punks Sleaford Mods and classy British saxophonist Nubya Garcia.

On the hip hop side, big, big PARTY with the incisive and hard-hitting rap of the English FLOHIO and the American GoldLink, the unique trap and rap mix of the American Princess Nokia, one of the new revelations of the French rap game OBOY and the great return of Josman.

This is just the start of a long series of announcements. A Dour 2022 XXL format we told you had just one theme-PARTY, for a week!
