Ayoub Zaidane, aka Zamdane, was born and raised in Marrakesh. When he was 18, he crossed the ocean to settle in Marseille. If you come across a young man freestyling near the Cour Julien, chances are it’s him. Zamdane and his single “Favaro” – already a cult hit – assimilated hip-hop conventions at breakneck speed. With his crew of fellow producers, directors and designers, he continues to light up Marseille and plans to do the same in Dour !
