Dourstalgia is in full swing after the resounding success of a 2023 edition that saw the gathering of some 240,000 festival-goers and fulfilled all its promises of a completely DOUREUUUH! experience. The wind turbines are turning again thanks to the breath of fresh air brought by a trailblazing and alternative programme. It is already time to immerse yourself in the 2024 edition of Dour Festival and to discover the first artists who will be crossing the threshold of Dour from 17 to 21 July.

TECHNO, DRUM AND BASS, HARDSTYLE

The festival’s backbone, the De Balzaal stage, its giant screens, its lasers and its huge open-air dancefloor as well as techno, house and bass music closing acts on its various stages have made Dour Festival a major event on the international electronic stage. The 2024 edition will see the national heroine Amelie Lens, the Northern Irish Bicep who will come to present their audiovisual live“Chroma“, the darling of French electronics TRYM, also accompanied by the visuals of his exclusive show “MILLENNIUM“, the queen Honey Dijon and her in-your-face sets, the techno phenomenon OGUZ and the hardgroove rhythms of the Canadian Chippy Nonstop.

Fans of drum and bass, hard trance, dubstep, Frenchcore and jungle: your needs for sub-bass, big beats and cadences above 150 BPM will be met by the drum and bass tube factory CHASE & STATUS who are back live, the Belgian bass music legend Netsky, the French genius of hardstyle Creeds , and by the R’n’B jungle of Nia Archives.

PUNCHLINES AND BALACLAVAS

After releasing his mixtape “J000.$”, blowing up the scores of the rap game without any promotion and after announcing that he will not release any new music before 2025, Josman will see the red carpet rolled out for his return to Dour Festival 2024. Luidji, one of the classiest rappers among our French counterparts, will make his first appearance in Dour, as will the enigmatic Kekra, the rising star of Venezuelan reggaeton MJ Nebreda and the Nigerian rap and spoken-word sensation Obongjayar.

POP, JAZZ AND NU-METAL

As usual, Dour Festival gives pride of place to live and instrumental music. A fusion of afrobeat, jazz and hip-hop, Ezra Collective will return to the feet of the wind turbines, as will the legend with the angelic voice James Blake. Another big name will make its very first appearance at Dour Festival: Puggy, the iconic Belgian band will promote its latest album “Never Give Up”. The Frenchwoman Zaho de Sagazan, who is on her way to becoming an icon of the French-speaking music world, will also come to experience DOUREUUUH for the first time!

Finally, 50% Limp Bizkit, 50% Linkin Park but 100% committed to bringing the Y2K spirit of nu-metal to life, the cover band Bizkit Park will come and play us the anthems of System Of A Down and others by the Deftones.

We will see you in a few weeks for the announcement of new names and in a few months for five days of gathering under the sun of Dour.
