Although she was born in a hospital in Queens, this young woman with glasses, barely a quarter of a century old, carries within her as much of Uncle Sam's culture as that transmitted by her Korean parents. Raised between New York, Atlanta and Seoul, Kathy (her first name) played her first gigs as a DJ, quickly she added both production and vocals to her arc. Now she triumphs in a garden that Lorde or Tove Lo would not deny, dragging her hipster shoes between dream electronica and echos of hip hop.
