ICE SPICE, AMINÉ AND MORE THAN 50 ARTISTS JOIN #DOUR2024!

AMINÉ, CAMELPHAT, ICE SPICE, ISHA & LIMSA D’AULNAY, THE LIBERTINES, OSCAR AND THE WOLF, PROTOJE, 999999999, ETC. DOUR FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES MORE THAN 50 NEW ARTISTS FOR ITS 2024 EDITION!

No sooner have we recovered from Valentine’s Day and its share of promises, love and disillusionment and moments of communion, than Dour Festival unveils a new wave of artists who will come to expand its immense lineup.

DRILL, HIP-HOP AND CLOUD RAP

Aminé and Ice Spice, the essential made-in-the-US rappers of recent years, are already announcing themselves as two performances that will mark this edition. Not to be outdone, as far as French rap is concerned in this new wave, Dour Festival are preparing (to avoid repeating the announcement) for the arrivals of Isha & Limsa D’Aulnay, who have signed one of the most prominent collabs of recent months, the Parisian Guy2Bezbar, the Senegalese member of 667 Osirus Jack, the return of Zamdane, the joint project Angie & Lazuli, the R&B breakcore emo of Lazza Gio, and the 95 rapper Malo. The most “choo” artist of Iberian R&B, Ralphie Choo, the rising star Sadandsolo, the British Berwyn and SadBoi‘s R&B dancehall will also be there.

TAPPING YOUR FOOT AT 130 BPM ON THE HIGHWAY OF VIBES

Giant screens, BPM techno, trance, rave, house and bass music, Dour Festival is lining up a new series of artists who will take the De Balzaal stage by storm, but also the sound systems of the Labo, the Petite Maison dans la Prairie and the Boombox (by night). The British duo Camelphat, with their tech house and their 20-year-long career, the warehouse techno of superstar Reinier Zonneveld, the Italian duo 999999999 and their speedy techno and the Berlin duo DJ Heartstring and their trance remixes will show us that mixing with four hands is always more fun. The Polish VTSS will make her big return to Dour while Basswell‘s indus, the acid techno of Courtesy and Daria Kolosova and her techno on the run, the Belgians Helena Lauwaert and Milo Spykers and the mentalcore of the duo Spice Up! will make Dour Festival vibrate for the very first time. It seems that he is in the line-up of all the best editions of the festival, Farrago will return to Balzaal, a stage that he knows well. We will also find OJOO and Mankiyan, who will this year deliver a B2B not to be missed under any circumstances.

Electronic UFOs, the one-man band Mezerg and the specialists in experimental, saturated and deconstructed music, Amnesia Scanner, will fill our eyes and ears. She is the pop techno sensation of the year: Sam Quealy and her heady choruses will show us what makes her the Queen of the Night, while Salome will come to defend her position as a new Belgian hyperpop sensation.

The genre-defying Interplanetary Criminal, with his UK garage and jungle, the dubstep of Londoners Hamdi, Kara and Koven, Remzcore and its Frenchcore will also be there to meet us next July.

LEGENDARY GUITARS AND INDIE A GO-GO

Carl Barât, who already came to Dour with The Jackals in 2015, is making a comeback this year with great pomp, bringing along in his luggage Pete Doherty and their band, The Libertines. Oscar and the Wolf, a warrior of Belgian pop, will finally take his first steps at Dour Festival for a concert full of sensitivity. While the Turkish band Altın Gün will finally make its return at the foot of the wind turbines, other monuments of the Belgian indie scene will also make their comeback: Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul and Girls in Hawaii. The post-punk of Astéréotypie and Billy Nomates, the punk of Chevalier Surprise, the instrumental electronics of Jean-Paul Groove, the iconic French metal band Lofofora, the lo-fi jazz duo O. and the punk and indus rock of Rendez-Vous and Talk Show.

Finally, the “reggae revival” scene embodied by Kabaka Pyramid or Protoje as well as Queen Omega, accompanied by The Royal Souls, will come to defend their “Red, Gold and Green” culture and join the incredible lineup of Dour Festival.
